video artist mario pfeifer invited me to create a journey from a parallel universe to our earth (more information) – the result ended up in a 15 minute animation. the visualisations (of our universe) are based on most recent astrophysical studies and research, for example using and visualizing data from the HIPPARCOS catalogue and laniakea. to use these datasets i had to write several scripts to convert them to usable point clouds – which where to huge for c4d to handle, but blender3d helped me again with this (as it does so many times).
